Being physically active has always been a major part of my life.
However, it wasn't until late in college that I realized that guiding others to a healthier way of living is truly what I should be doing with my time on Earth. This was after I became heavily involved in the sport of Obstacle Course Racing.
Between education and racing at an extremely high level, I realized that all humans are capable of continuous outward growth in all aspects of their lives. There truly are no boundaries.
I have a Bachelor of Social Work, am a certified Personal Trainer and Group Fitness Instructor, a Licensed Pilates Instructor, a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and a Sports Performance Coach. Most recently I became a Kion Coach. This creates a wealth of knowledge I will pull from to help you get fantastic results in minimal time.
In addition to the constant pursuit of achieving the best physical body for myself and my clients, I have a deep passion for mental health. I spent a good portion of my young adulthood fighting a battle against depression. Over time, I came to see movement as medicine. Movement truly helped to save my life. I cannot help but think that it can help to save the lives of others as well. I feel an incredible calling to use my knowledge of movement and overall health to help eradicate depression and mental health issues and lead people to a better life, not just in the body, but also the mind and spirit.
