Description

Taking care of your bone and joint health is necessary if you're already struggling with nagging discomfort each time you workout, if your exercise range of motion has decreased or is suboptimal, or even if you just want to get ahead of the repair cycle and ensure your body has everything necessary to recover from your workouts or fast-paced life. But considering that bone density loss and joint cartilage degradation due to aging can start as early as in your thirties, supplementing to support these body structures may be beneficial for just about anybody.

With Kion Flex, you can promote joint comfort, mobility, and flexibility and support bone health with 16 different ingredients chosen based upon scientific data and traditional medicine.* A bioavailable blend of naturally occurring compounds such as glucosamine and chondroitin from type II chicken collagen, whole foods, herbs, minerals and enzymes assist in recovery from exercise-induced wear and tear and assist your body's healthy inflammatory response to exercise, stress, and other lifestyle factors.* Goat’s milk whey provides naturally occurring minerals and electrolytes, which are vital for a variety of bodily functions.* Kion Flex eases occasional discomfort associated with exertion, while promoting bone and joint wellness and vitality, in a formula that is easily absorbed and used by the body.*

Specifically, it contains the following blends:

1. Collagen Blend:

Type II Collagen is the principal structural protein in cartilage which provides strength, flexibility and joint support. It comprises over 50% of the protein in cartilage and over 90% of articular (joint) cartilage. Studies have examined the efficacy of oral supplementation of type II collagen on moderating joint function and joint pain due to strenuous exercise in healthy subjects and have shown that collagen supplementation increased joint mobility, prolonged how long one could exercise before joint pain occurred, improved recovery speeds after exercise, and less joint pain after exercise.*

The Type II Chicken Collagen used in Kion Flex provides structural support needed for healthy joints.* It also contains Glucosamine and Chondroitin sulfates and comes from chickens free of growth hormones, antibiotics, pesticides, and insecticides. This form of collagen is a whole food concentrate that has no known side effects and provides maximum absorption. According to recent studies at Harvard University Medical School, the Type II Collagen derived from Chicken Cartilage can also help to strengthen the immune system.*

2. FlexPro Blend:

Cherry Juice: This natural extract has been found to aid in the breakdown of uric acid crystals which deposit in joints, tendons, kidneys and connective tissue.* Studies show that consuming cherries and cherry juice daily can lessen the effects of uric acid.* Concentrated cherry juice delivers the beneficial bioactive compounds found in fresh cherries such as anthocyanidins and proanthocyanidins, without excess carbohydrates or calories.

Ginger: Possesses many strong antioxidant properties and has been shown to relieve muscular discomfort.*

Turmeric: Also referred to as curcumin, turmeric manifests excellent antioxidant properties that may protect your cells from free radical damage and support your body's healthy inflammatory response.* Human studies have shown many beneficial aspects of curcumin supplementation.

White Willow Bark: The use of white willow bark for pain relief dates back to over 2400 years to the time of Hippocrates. The pain-relieving action comes from a glycoside called salicin – from which the body can naturally make salicylic acid (aspirin). This, along with the antioxidant effects of the polyphenols and flavonoids found in white willow bark, support your body's healthy inflammatory response to exercise and may help combat muscle soreness associated with exercise.*

Hyaluronic Acid: Hyaluronic acid is one of the main components of synovial fluid (joint fluid) and is the main lubricating element in synovial fluid.

Boswellia: Known by its more popular name Frankincense, boswellia has been used for hundreds of years for various ailments. It may assist with the body's healthy response to oxidative stress and inflammation that occur from exertion.*

Cetyl Myristoleate: This naturally occurring fatty acid promotes joint wellness and has been researched clinically. Preliminary results of several double-blind, randomized controlled, research studies have found cetyl myristoleate effective in supporting knee function.*

3. Mineral Blend:

Goat Milk Mineral Whey Concentrate: This mineral/electrolyte extract from goat milk whey has been developed using extraction technology known as refractance window drying. This gentle extraction process captures fragile nutrients without harsh processing steps or extreme temperatures. The mineral whey blend in Kion Flex contains over 20 different bio-organic minerals and electrolytes such as potassium, magnesium, sodium, calcium, and phosphorus – minerals critical in maintaining proper muscle and joint health.*

4. Enzyme Blend:

Oral enzyme therapy is a unique approach to promoting muscle and joint recovery from exercise by maintaining normal circulation and promoting a healthy immune and inflammatory response to exertion.* This allows for optimal nutrient delivery and waste removal.* Enzymes coordinate many physiological functions in the body and meet both digestive and metabolic needs by breaking down proteins and peptides into amino acids, the body's building blocks, and by acting as catalysts that start and stop chemical reactions in your body. Optimal enzyme activity in the body is crucial for overall health. The enzyme blend in Kion Flex contains the following natural enzymes:

-Protease: Converts protein into polypeptides, and breaks down inflammatory byproducts.
-Bromelain: A combination of enzymes from both fruit and leaves of the pineapple plant. Also breaks down inflammatory byproducts.
-Papain: An enzyme found in papayas that breaks down fats and proteins for optimal nutrient absorption. Also breaks down inflammatory byproducts.
-Amylase: Breaks down and digests carbohydrates and inflammatory byproducts.
-Lipase: Fat digesting enzyme, and also breaks down inflammatory byproducts.
-Cellulase: Converts fiber cellulose to glucose, and breaks down inflammatory byproducts. Cellulase is not made in your body and can only be obtained from food or supplements.
-Peptidase: Breaks down proteins at different pH levels along the digestive tract and breaks down inflammatory byproducts.

In addition, Kion Flex contains a unique ingredient: goat milk whey. This type of whey has been used for decades to promote bone density as well as relieve occasional joint discomfort, and it contributes less to allergy or autoimmune issues than other forms of whey can. One world-renowned nutritionist, Dr. Bernard Jensen, used goat milk whey as one of his go-to natural healing foods of choice for healthy joints. This highly concentrated whole food extract also contains a complete array of naturally occurring minerals (including Potassium, Magnesium, and Calcium) in ratios easily absorbed by a beat-up body.

Kion Flex does not rely on traditional tableting technology. The reason for this is current tableting technology requires that ingredients be ground extensively and granulated multiple times, then binding agents must be added, and finally, the product must be crushed in a 10 to 100-ton press to successfully “punch” the tablet into shaped. This process exposes delicate ingredients to high pressure, high heat, and lowers the actual bioavailability of the final product. This is precisely the reason Kion Flex uses encapsulation technology that requires no binders, no granulation, no extreme pressure or temperature, along with a non-gelatin, vegetarian capsule made from vegetable cellulose.

When all these components are included together, the result is a bone and joint formula that is far more comprehensive than the basic glucosamine and chondroitin blend that you’ll find in most bone and joint supplements, and a carefully selected blend of ingredients to support bone and joint wellness and vitality.

    Stephen Miller:

I am 60 years old and run 3 times a week and usually go pretty heavy on leg day at the gym. Been suffering with some pretty sore knees so after listening to Ben’s podcast decided to give it a go. I’m on my 3rd week and have a noticeable improvement especially after the longer runs 5 miles or more. Definitely worth the price and I highly recommend !

    Tom:

Works amazingly well… I am 51 yrs young, training for over 35 years, and have tried everything to hold on to my youth 🙂
Within a week of introducing Flex in my protocols, stiffness and achiness in my joints have all but disappeared and I feel great. I incorporated Ben’s dosing recommendation according to activity level and stress on the body, and the difference is noticeable. I highly recommend this product.

    Dominic Wilson:

Simply an awesome product!! I’m very active and train in combat sports but have always been a little stiff with flexibility, Kion flex has helped me tremendously. It has helped my mobility and I feel particularly a little bit more fluid in the mornings.

It’ really helped me with my morning stretches and overall does exactly what it says it does.

    Devin Rhode:

Continue to take this, usually empty the capsules, add some GoL ultra defense probiotic, GoL RM-10, ginger, cinnamon, cayanne, tumeric, maybe some fat, coffee+cocoa+lions mane+plnt adaptogens in the morning, maybe some liquid concentrace mineral drops, maybe some Good Mood st. johns wort blend, even some Hammer super antioxidant. My joints seem to be healing a bit faster.

    Devin Rhode:

I’ve taken it with some other supplements on an empty stomach, both as a powder (emptied capsule) and also just swallowing the capsules whole, and have not had any stomach pain. Good stuff! Now all I need to do is tune up my diet to focus on joint health as the #1 priority and I’m one step closer to working out every day

    Jasmine:

I had all 4 of my wisdom teeth out. I’m a CrossFit instructor and had to be coaching 2 days later. I took 10 f these a day ( along with ibuprofen) and I was able to coach! I continued to take these for about a week. I had very little swelling and was able to do a crossfit workout within 5 days of the surgery. I think Bens stuff is great and this was well worth the price–especially if it meant I could quickly get back to my physical lifestyle.

I am 61 years old, and have recently discovered Ben’s podcasts and his related company. I tried the Kion Flex as an experiment to see if it would work better than my Glucosamine/Chondroitin supplement, specifically for my knee pain. I’ve been using it for 2-3 months now, and there has been a noticeable improvement in my knee pain! I’m a big fan.

    Bobby:

I’ve been dealing with a nagging hamstring injury that has hampered my leg work outs. This product seems to be boosting my hamstring recovery and I’ve also noticed less issues with my arthritis lately. I was taking a myriad of herbs before to help inflammation and this is a great replacement to taking multiple different products.

    Mark Trimmer:

I stumbled on this product through social media. I am 55 years old and push my body to the limits constantly. I am a regular OCR participant including 8 and 24 hourcompetitions. My knees and other joints are well used and abused. One month of this product made a noticeable difference in my recovery, a reduced amount of knee pain and overall joint health. It has become permanent part of my supplements routine.

    Andrew Bachi:

I have been using the flex supplement for over a month now. I bought it because I was having knee pain. Now that pain is gone! I noticed it got a lot better after about two weeks of using this supplement, in fact most of my joint aches and pains have smoothed out and vanished. I trust kion because of the high quality ingredients and huge amount of thought and science that goes into the design of it. Thanks a lot!

My go to post workout recovery hack!! Great for long drives also. I’m sure it helped with a medial meniscus tear following an obstacle race. Great knowing you can deal with healing in a natural way and not mask it with pain killers (which are now obsolete for me even though in more active). Gotta get some more!!

    John Shoffner:

I woke up one day feeling unusually good. I work really hard to keep track of how my body is performing and what supplements are working – I take a lot of things. On this occasion I detected that I was moving better, smoother, I was less tight all around, most things seemed more effortless. Now I do take a high quality cur curcumin which could help with that, but that has been going on for a while, but after about 5 weeks on Kion Flex things just got better, all around. I’ve used glucosamine/chondroiton products in the past with no perceived benefits, but this stack is way way more effective for me. Effortless movement is important to me and I think Flex helps keep me there. Thanks for a nice blend here Kion! -JS

    Tyson Weller:

Great supplement! I’ve been struggling with rehabing a muniscus tear with no progress. So I decided to give flex a try. I’m so glad I did. After a few weeks I was able to run without pain for the first time this year. Thanks Ben and the team at Kion for putting this supplement together.

    daniel.thomas26:

I’m 37 and back to working out 6/7 days a week. I would experience a lot of muscle and joint soreness when I would push it to 3-4 days in row. It was to the point where I was having to take days off to recover, so I started looking for things to help. I have been taking flex, and superessentials fish oil, for three weeks and have noticed massive improvement. I have not had any extreme muscle soreness, though my gym mates have mentioned soreness following tough workouts. My joints also feel significantly better. It’s a night and day change versus where I was a few weeks ago.

    • Team Kion:

That’s awesome, Daniel. Thanks for sharing!

    Vicki Milne:

First of all, I’m not an elite athlete. I’m a 58-year-old woman who has numerous physical issues due to a 5 year battle with Lyme disease. I bought Kion Flex for chronic knee issues. I take two capsules a day in the morning on an empty stomach. I noticed a difference right away. I’m able to walk my three miles a day without pain! Even more surprising, a slow to heal minor foot injury is much improved. I have purchased thousands of products over the last several years, but this one delivered so I felt compelled to write a review. Thanks!

    • Team Kion:

That’s great, Vicki! Happy it helped, and thank you for taking the time to leave a review.

    Paul Swanson:

Awesome product! I’ve been using the earlier version (nature flex, before that it was capraflex) for a couple years and I definitely feel it helps me recover.. I do the normal dosing every day, and double it after really big training runs or races.. Important to eat it on an empty stomach for the digestive enzymes.. I feel like I heal quickly, and my connective tissue seems to take treatments more effectively if that makes sense.. massage, PT, rolfing, etc type treatments have healthier tissue to work with and it shows with this supplement.. Yup 2yrs plus and I can’t train as well without it!

    Jason Hendrix:

Great product!! I had been using another chondroitin supplement for recovery, however this one kicked it up several notches!! Recovery has improved immensely!! Aches and pains after long runs are gone by the morning. I am a believer and now a Kion Flex user for life.
